Mayor Stimpson Hosts Service Activity in Support of "Be A Santa to A Senior" Campaign

Dec 20th, 2013

Mayor Sandy Stimpson is proud to announce the City of Mobile's support for this year's "Be A Santa to A Senior" campaign. Sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care, "Be A Santa to A Senior" aims to make sure isolated seniors receive gifts and companionship during the holiday season.

In support of this year's "Be A Santa to A Senior" campaign, Mayor Stimpson's office will host a volunteer wrap party on Friday, December 20, from 10:00 a.m. until Noon in the Multi-Purpose Room of Mobile Government Plaza. Volunteers will wrap, glue and embellish dozens of unwrapped gift items to be delivered to seniors throughout the Mobile community. All City of Mobile employees are invited to participate by volunteering their time during this upcoming event. Light refreshments will be served by Mobile's own Chef Rob & Co. Please see invitation below for more event details.
