MAYOR STIMPSON CALLS FOR UNITY AND ANNOUNCES COMMUNITY FORUM ON RACE

MOBILE, ALABAMA. -- Mayor Sandy Stimpson announced today that he will host an upcoming community forum on race relations in Mobile.

The forum, tentatively titled "Moving Forward: An Honest Conversation" will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the History Museum of Mobile.

"We have too much positive momentum to allow any single issue to hold us back," said Mayor Stimpson. "We have big challenges ahead of us, but make no mistake: I believe in One Mobile. I am willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it. I hope our citizens will join with us as we work to make that vision a reality."
