Mayor Sakuma and Ichihara Goodwill Delegation Participate in the Azalea Trail Run

The 29th Azalea Trail Run was held March 25, 2005 during the visit of Mayor Sakuma and the goodwill delegation. They went to the festivities and even participated in the one and two mile fun runs. The group was excited when the announcer at the start line thanked them for coming all the way from Ichihara for the run. They were cheered on as they started the runs and when they finished. It was a beautiful day for the Azalea Trail Run and the group enjoyed it.
The delegation also enjoyed the Mobile Museum of Art and visiting the future site of the Japanese Gardens. Mayor Sakuma was interested in the upcoming plans for the beautiful gardens. Mayor Sakuma and the delegation departed out of Mobile on Sunday, March 26 and planned on visiting San Antonio before returning to Ichihara.
