Mayor Jones Welcomes Mardi Gras Ships

Mayor Sam Jones and other local dignitaries welcomed the USS Samuel B. Roberts and the USCGC Decisive to Mobile for Mardi Gras. The ships, docked at Mobile Landing between Cooper-Riverside Park and the Alabama Cruise Terminal, will be open to the public from Friday, February 16 through Fat Tuesday, February 20 between noon and 4:30 p.m.

The Samuel B. Roberts is a Navy guided-missile frigate based out of Mayport, Florida. The Decisive is a Coast Guard Cutter based in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
