Mayor Jones Welcomes East Timor President

Mayor Samuel L. Jones and the United States Sports Academy welcome His Excellency President Kay Rala Xanana Gusmao of East Timor, Africa. Also pictured below is United States Sports Academy Vice President Dr. T.J. Rosandich (right). President Gusmao was in the Mobile area to receive an honorary doctorate from the Academy on January 19, 2007. The Academy and East Timor are developing plans to implement national sports programs in that country.
