Mayor Jones to Hold Public Hearing on Budget

Mayor Sam Jones is proud to announce a public hearing to discuss the Fiscal Year 2007 budget that he will put forth in the coming weeks. The public hearing is set for Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at 10 a.m. in the auditorium of Government Plaza.

Mayor Jones’s first budget is commitment to improving the level of services rendered to citizens and the creation of a sound fiscal management system that strives to clean up the City of Mobile.

The FY 2007 budget is a benchmark of the administration’s diligent effort to create accountability measures that enhances public safety, public services and economic development, while strengthening our image in the global marketplace and building more confidence in city government.
