Mayor Jones, Keep Mobile Beautiful Accept Check for Beautification Efforts

Keep America Beautiful, in partnership with Waste Management, provides "Think Green Target City" grants each year to affiliates in good standing.

Cities present grant proposals that are reviewed and selected by WM and KAB officials.

This is the sixth consecutive year that the City of Mobile and Keep Mobile Beautiful have won a Think Green grant.

The check was presented by Randy Lee, Senior District Manager to George Hunter, treasurer of Keep Mobile Beautiful.
