Mayor Jones in Europe for Economic Development

Mayor Jones, along with a delegation from the City of Mobile, Mobile County and the State of Alabama are “crossing the pond” for economic development. They are attending several functions in Europe dealing with aerospace demonstrations, including several involving our relationship with the European Aeronautic Defense and Space (EADS) Co.

“We are here to make sure the world knows that Mobile is open for business,” said Mayor Jones. “This is an excellent opportunity for Mobile and our neighbors to gain global exposure, because we are fast becoming an international hotspot.”

The group’s next stop will be in Madrid, Spain where they will take a tour of EADS facilities.
