Mayor Jones Announces New Whole Foods Coming to Mobile

Mayor Sam Jones announced today that Whole Foods, a supermarket which emphasizes organic and natural products, will be opening a store in Mobile. Plans are for it to be a part of a redeveloped Pinebrook Shopping Center, opening in 2015.

“This is an excellent addition to our city, it provides a great option for our citizens, and it is a clear indicator that Mobile is moving in a very positive direction,” said Mayor Jones. “We have been working with Whole Foods for some time now, headed by Council President Reggie Copeland. We are appreciative of everyone’s efforts who worked to make this announcement a reality.
