Mayor Dow Receives the Dapper Danny Award

St. Jude's Research Childrens Hospital honored Mayor Mike Dow with the Dapper Danny Award on August 16, 2005. The Dapper Danny Award is named after the founder of St. Jude' Hospital, Danny Thomas. Danny Thomas was a man with a vision and with his hard work the vision came true. A children's hospital that would help all children no matter if able to pay or not.

St. Jude's Hospital and the local chapter, St. Jude's on the Bay, wanted to honor Mayor Dow for his vision, hard work, dedication and his service to the City of Mobile for the past 16 years.
