“Mayhem in Mobile” Postponed

Mobile, AL - The "Mayhem in Mobile" professional boxing show originally scheduled for Saturday at Mobile Civic Center has been postponed said event promoter Dana Pitcher.

The illness of the main event participant knockout artist Jaffa Ballagou (42-5, 37 KOs) forced the postponement. ”Although ticket sales were sluggish, even for a walk-up market, the lack of pre-fight ticket sales was not to blame for the postponement”, according to the fight promoter.

Pitcher added: “We are working on a new date and hope to reschedule the fight soon. This is an exciting fight card, one of the best this year in boxing. I want to keep the fighters in training. We are working on an alternative date, as we speak."

The event was scheduled to feature 50 plus of Professional Boxing with World Class Boxers, featuring Heavyweights to Lightweights.
