Mark Your Calendar – Council Meeting Changes Coming Up

The dates or location of several upcoming Mobile City Council meetings are changing. Below is a breakdown of those changes and why:

• Next week’s Council meeting will be held Monday, December 4, 2006 instead of Tuesday. Several members of the council are traveling out of town for a national conference, necessitating the change in date.

• The Council meeting on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 will be held at the Museum of Mobile (111 South Royal Street). It is customary for the Council to hold one meeting a year at the Museum.

• The Council will meet on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 instead of that Tuesday. City Hall will be closed for the Christmas holiday on Monday, December 25 and Tuesday, December 26.
