Love Your Neighbor Gathering is This Sunday

In an effort to focus on the community's religious differences, Mobile Mayor Sam Jones will hold a "Love Your Neighbor" interfaith gathering at the Saenger Theatre on Sunday from 3 to 4 p.m. All citizens are invited.

Highlights will include a community choir and an international children's choir performing a variety of music; readings from the Torah, the Bible, the Koran and Buddhist teachings; and responsive prayers led by Mobile youth.

The purpose of the "Love Your Neighbor" program is to create an environment that promotes kindness and consideration among neighbors.
