Load Limit Issued for Bridge Over Michigan Avenue

The City of Mobile has reduced the total allowable weight of vehicular traffic on the Michigan Avenue Bridge over the CSX railroad to 16 tons or less. This recommendation is based on a current bridge rating analysis completed by the Alabama Department of Transportation Maintenance Bureau. Traffic in excess of this limit should use the Broad Street entrance to the Brookley Complex.
