Jan 9th, 2007

Councilman Fred Richardson and Mayor Sam Jones honored the coaches and members of the LeFlore High School varsity basketball squad with proclamations after their early success at several national tournaments. The Rattlers have a 17 – 1 record, and have won the Iolani NIKE Invitational in Hawaii, and the Timberwolves Target Center Classic in Minneapolis, and finished second in the T-Mobile Invitational in Seattle.

LeFlore is ranked No. 11 in the most recent USA Today national high school poll, and they are ranked No. 1 in the 6A Alabama state rankings.
