Junior League of Mobile's 10th Annual Toy Sale Slated For Saturday

MOBILE, Ala. - Deeply-discounted toys, including dolls, stuffed animals, action figures, board games and electronics will be on sale Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Junior League of Mobile’s 10th Annual Toy Sale. The event will take place at the Junior League Shop, 85 N. Sage Ave.

Santa Claus is scheduled to make an early-morning appearance at the sale, which is a fundraiser for the Junior League of Mobile. All proceeds from the event benefit the dozens of programs and community-service projects that benefit Mobile area residents.

Junior League members purchase new, brand-name toys throughout the year to donate for the toy sale.

"The toy sale is a great opportunity for people wanting to purchase quality toys, but may be on a budget this holiday season," said Jennifer Walker, chairwoman for the Junior League Shop. "Hundreds of bargains will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on Saturday."
