Judge Little Sworn In

New Municipal Court Judge Carol Little was sworn in by Circuit Court Judge John Lockett before the City Council meeting on Tuesday, February 17, 2009. Judge Little will fill the part-time Judge position covering the Metro Jail Docket. Before taking this position, Judge Little served as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Mobile where her primary role was prosecutor.

Judge Little received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1984 from Vanderbilt University where she received the Gertrude Vanderbilt scholarship. In 1991, she graduated from Howard University School of Law in Washington, DC. At Howard, she was Book Review Editor of the Howard Law Journal and Vice President of her graduating class.
