Holiday Trash and Garbage Schedule

Due to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, the city of Mobile trash and garbage schedule will be revised as follows:

• Household garbage scheduled for collection on Monday, January 16, will be picked-up on Wednesday, January 18.
  
• Trash pick-up scheduled for Monday, January 16 will not be rescheduled. The next southside Monday collection will be on January 30. Residents are asked not to put out their trash out until 48 hours prior to the January 30 collection.
  

Residential trash is defined as limbs, old furniture, appliances and junk. Yard trimmings leaves, straw and grass should be bagged for collection.
There is a limit of two cubic yards of trash - that is a pile measuring three feet high, three feet wide and six feet long or 15 bags of yard materials.
