Good News for Keep Mobile Beautiful

Good News.

Keep Mobile Beautiful has won a second $1000 grant from The Home Depot for a community improvement project.  There were two awards for the state of Alabama and a limited number for other states involved in the Great American Cleanup.

Last years grant was used to begin restoration of Lavretta Park in Springhill off Old Shell Road.  The park, in Councilman Steve Nodines district, is undergoing a major transformation led by a fantastic coalition of neighbors.
