FRANKLIN CELEBRATES 30 YEARS OF SERVING MOBILE

Franklin Primary Health Center, Inc. will celebrate 30 years of serving Mobile during National Health Center Week, August 7-13, 2005. To kick off our celebration there will be a health fair on Monday, August 8, 2005 at the new Medical Mall located at 1303 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
There will be screenings for Blood Pressure Cholesterol, Vision, Dental and Prostate provided. Get information on Family Planning and Education, All Kids Enrollment, Prescription Medication Assistance and Massage Therapy. There will be free food and drinks, face painting, a space walk, cash drawings and give-aways.
This community-wide event will feature other agencies including Providence Hospital, Mobile Infirmary, the Sickle Cell Disease Association, Southern Care, Odyssey Healthcare, Castle Remedies Mobile Housing Board and the Alabama Career Center.
The event will kick off with a program at 10:30 a.m. Meet and greet your elected officials and hear from the Mayoral candidates!
The celebration will continue with a Gala on Friday, August 12, 2005 at the Riverveiw Plaza Hotel at 6:00 p.m.. Congressman Artur Davis will be the guest speaker.
Tickets are still available so please call now to reserve your seat. The culminating event will be our 10th Anniversary Celebrity Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at the beautiful Magnolia Grove Golf Course. We are still taking reservations for teams!
