FAMILY FUN DAY

Your P.A.R.K. Project and local community members are partnering together to hold a "Family Fun Day" on Saturday, May 7th from 10:00 am until Noon. The event will be held at Public Safety Memorial Park located just before the Loop in Midtown (across from Foosackly's on Airport Blvd.). The event is being held as a fundraiser for the Midtown Playground - a multi-aged playground system that will be installed this summer in the park.

Some activities scheduled include:

• Bring out the kids and have their hand painted on a tile that will be personalized and permanently placed in the park! Each tile is only $25 and is tax-deductible. Artist Cathi Ginder will be available to help kids with their tiles.
  
• Pizza, drinks and ice cream with donation*!
  
• Let the kids play in the Moon Jump!
  
• Bike Parade will begin at 10:30 am. All kids are encouraged to decorate their bikes!
  
• Bring your favorite outdoor toy!
  
• Family and friends are welcomed!
  

A $5 donation* is appreciated per person and for children 4 and older. This will be one of many events to take place in the park in the coming months. Hopefully these events will help the community visualize and experience the fun and enjoyment that a clean, updated park can provide. With your help and participation we can do just that!
