Electronics Recycling Day is Just Ahead

On Saturday, November 4, Keep Mobile Beautiful, Waste Management and Recycled Fibers will host our 4th Annual Computer and Electronics Recycling Event.

The event will take place at the Greater Gulf State Fairgrounds at the corner of Cody Road and Zeigler Boulevard from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The recycling event is free to Mobile area residents. However, businesses will be charged $5.00 per monitor and/or CPU. There will be no charge for other items.

Collection items include:

Computers, CPU’s, monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers and other computer components

Laptops, fax machines

Printers/scanners, desktop copiers

Connectors, cables, power cords

Radios, televisions, cell phones, portable phones

VCR’s, electronic games

Dry cell batteries


We will not accept:

Appliances, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, ice makers, smoke detectors, gas powered equipment or car batteries.

No paint or hazardous materials will be accepted.
