Dr. Harold Dodge Named Alabama’s 2006 Superintendent of the Year



Mobile, Al., November 03, 2005 – The School Superintendents of Alabama (SSA) has announced the selection of Dr. Harold Dodge as the 2006 Alabama Superintendent of the Year. Statewide judging of Dr. Dodge’s application and seven other finalist was held in October. Dr. Dodge was announced Alabama's Superintendent of the Year on November 3rd.

Other 2006 finalists include Dr. James H. Carter, Selma City Schools; Mr. Ronnie Driver, Covington County Schools; Dr. Jim Jeffers, Tallassee City Schools; Mr. Evan Major, Shelby County Schools; Mr. Jacky Sparks, Calhoun County Schools; Mr. Bravell Jackson, Marion county Schools; and Dr. Richard Gardner, Sheffield City Schools.

The School Superintendents of Alabama (SSA) represents superintendents and school system leaders around the state. Congratulations Dr. Dodge!!!
