Cruise Terminal Dedication

Mobile, Alabama's Cruise Terminal

Please join the City of Mobile and Retirement Systems of Alabama to dedicate the new Cruise Terminal, Friday, October 15, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. The terminal is located just off Eslava Street on the Mobile River at 201 South Water Street.

Governor Bob Riley, Lt. Governor Lucy Baxley, Senator Richard Shelby, Congressman Jo Bonner, Carnival Cruise Lines CEO Bob Dickinson and others will be in Mobile to help celebrate the opening of the Terminal.

Parking for the dedication will be in the lot across the street from the Cruise Terminal at Fort Conde-(formerly Roussos' parking lot), and in the grassy area under the interstate. Mobile Police will direct traffic and help everyone find parking space. There will be a shuttle available for anyone needing assistance.

The terminal's parking deck will be reserved for several hundred travel agents and other guests who will be boarding the ship later.

Because of strict security requirements, everyone attending the dedication must bring a picture ID, go through a screening process, and be seated by 9:45 a.m. No cameras - other than those used by members of the Media will be allowed.

** There will be a Media briefing by Terminal Security officers at 9:15 a.m. inside the terminal.
