Crimestoppers Rewards Tipster for Illegal Gun Recovery

The Mobile Police Department, through an Operation Bulletproof tip, removed an illegal gun from the streets. On June 9 at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of Kellogg St. in reference to a subject riding a bicycle and armed with a handgun. Freddie Coleman, 51, was found to be in possession of a .38 caliber handgun and was charged with No Pistol Permit and Reckless EndangermentThe person who anonymously reported the incident to Crimestoppers will be rewarded $100 through the Bulletproof Mobile initiative.
