Crichton Revitalization and Beautification Project Block Captains Attend Council Meeting

Today, Mayor Sam Jones introduced members of the Crichton community who have taken on the responsibility to serve as Block Captains for Councilman Fred Richardson's District 1, Crichton Revitalization and Beautification project.

Attending the council meeting on July 23, 2013 were members of Friendship Baptist, St. Stephens AME and Williams Chapel churches in Crichton who are committed to promoting a better quality of life for everyone by serving as Adopt-A-Block Captains and working to rid their community of blight, overgrown areas and other negative influences. The Captains will be supported by City Departments, including Municipal Court, Urban Development, Parks and Recreation and Keep Mobile Beautiful.
