Councilwoman Gregory to Hold Holiday Celebration

Mobile City Councilmember Gina Gregory will hold a holiday celebration on Monday, December 6, 2010, 6:30 p.m. at the Mobile Museum of Art (4850 Museum Drive).

There will be a special recognition for the community groups and public safety officers who work hard to improve and protect the District and City. Refreshments will be served after the meeting.

Items will be collected items for the children at Wilmer Hall. The items on their generic wish list include: Gift cards, movie passes, cell phone minute cards, watches, Nintendo DS games, purses, billfolds, white socks (no shows), men’s dress socks, batteries (AA & AAA), lotion, shampoo, DVD movies, portable DVD players, CD players, headphones, toothbrushes, hair brushes, combs, hygiene items, hair dryers, curling irons, flat irons, make-up, purses, pierced earrings, jewelry, cologne, perfume and belts. The generic wish list for the cottages includes: laundry baskets, sets of dishes, pots, pans, AM/FM radio alarm clocks, area rugs, fans, regular size pillows, flatware, towels, shower curtains (mildew resistant w/rings), dish towels, twin sheets, framed paintings, bath mats, blankets, throws, lamps, and furniture.
