Councilman Richardson Welcomes South African Visitor

Mr. Molusi is visiting Mobile all the way from Johannesburg, South Africa, where he is the Producer of the International Joy of Jazz Festival. Mr. Molusi is always looking at creating relationships with cities throughout the world concentrating on issues such as cultural exchange, music development and socio-economic factors. Ms. Thrash is a Mobile resident and serves as an International Liaison with the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Ms. Thrash travels to Johannesburg each year for their festival. Ms. Thrash is very active in the community and has been instrumental in helping to promote jazz music in our region. Mr. Molusi and Ms. Thrash had the opportunity to meet with Councilman Richardson this afternoon and tour the Council Office.
