Councilman Richardson, Johnson to Hold Job Expo

There will be a Job Expo for citizens of Districts 1 and 3 on Thursday, April 24th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Dumas Wesley Community Center, 126 Mobile Street, in Crichton. Giants of the Maritime, Steel and Aerospace Industries such as ThyssenKrupp, Austal, Atlantic Marine and Berg Spiral Pipe have already confirmed their attendance. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.

The Alabama Industrial Development Training office will be on hand to assist applicants with all training needs. ITT Tech and Mobile Works will be in attendance to help with training issues as well.

This is the first time for such an expo. Its magnitude is gigantic. Citizens of Districts 1 and 3 and elsewhere are requested to come out in record numbers and be among the first to apply for a good paying job.
