Council Welcomes Newest Member

Council President Reggie Copeland, Vice-President Fred Richardson and the rest of the Mobile City Council are proud to welcome its newest member, Mr. John Williams. Mr. Williams won the special election to fill the vacated seat in District 4. He will be sworn in on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at the 10:30 a.m. Council meeting.

John Williams is married to Dr. Maureen Baldy (a pediatric dentist and a retired Army Colonel) -- they have two children John Paul (7) and Luke (5). John is a 20-year active duty Army Veteran--served a tour in Desert Storm and was selected to serve on the Pentagon Staff. He enjoys Golf and coaching youth sports. He attends St. Ignatius Church where he serves as a Lector and Choir Member.
