Council Welcomes Austal USA CEO

Austal USA's CEO Bob Browning spoke to Mobile City Council on Tuesday apprising them of a recent contract they received that could result in his company building 10 high speed transport military ships worth up to $1.6 billion. Over the long haul it could result in them building up to 25 such ships that will bring their employment to 3,000 employees. In addition Austal also expects to build from two to three Littoral Combat ships for the US Navy.
