Council Approves Street Name Change to Honor Pastor

The Mobile City Council unanimously approved a name change of Montrose Street to Rev. A.T. Days Street, to honor the pastor of St. Paul A.M.E. Church. Rev. Days was lauded by Mayor Sam Jones, Councilman Fred Richardson, and Councilman Clinton Johnson, who sponsored the name change resolution.

Rev. A.T. Days Street runs north-south between Duval and Melrose Streets, just east of Michigan Ave.
