Community Meeting for Recently Annexed Area Scheduled for Monday

Mayor Sam Jones, Councilwoman Gina Gregory, and City department heads will hold a community meeting for citizens in the recently annexed area in west Mobile on Monday, December 17, 2007 at the Greater Gulf State Fairgrounds (1035 Cody Road North) starting at 6:30 p.m.

Residents will learn about progress in the area including the start of automated garbage cart pick ups, public safety improvements, road projects, and more.

A holiday social with refreshments will immediately follow the meeting.
