City of Mobile’s Fireworks Display at Battleship Alabama

The USS Alabama’s Battleship Park will once again host the City of Mobile’s Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration. Located on the Causeway, the site makes for the perfect backdrop to celebrate our nation’s Independence Day.

The park and the ship will be open to the public all day. Field parking will begin at 5:30 p.m. with entertainment beginning at 7 p.m. The fireworks display begins at 9:00 p.m. This year's entertainment features the band Emerge. The band will perform a variety of tunes from Sweet Home Alabama to songs made famous by Motown artists. Patriotic tunes will be played during the fireworks display.

LifeSouth Community Blood Center will have their Blood Mobile on site. The area is on emergency appeal for blood; all blood types are needed. Donors must be at least 17 years of age, at least 110 pounds and must present a photo I.D.

Fireworks patrons are reminded that this is a free family-friendly event. No alcoholic beverages are allowed. No grilling is allowed on site. Lawn chairs and blankets are allowed in the viewing area; however no tents will be permitted. Boaters are reminded that no one is allowed within 100 feet of the Battleship. Concessions will be available for purchase. Portable toilet facilities will also be available.
