City of Mobile to Host Tire Recycling Day

Mobile, Ala. -- The City of Mobile is hosting Tire Recycling Day this Saturday from 8 am to 11 am. Mobile residents, with photo ID, will have the opportunity to drop off used tires for free in each of the seven districts around the city at the following locations.

District 1: Lake Drive Tricentennial Park, 2121 Lake Drive

District 2: Spring Hill Recreation Center, 1151 Spring Hill Avenue

District 3: Baumhauer-Randle Park, 1909 Duval St

District 4: Dog River Park, 2459 Dog River Drive North

District 5: Public Safety Memorial Park, 2300 Government Street

District 6: Medal of Honor Park, 1711 Hillcrest Road

District 7: Langan Park, 4851 Museum Drive

Four tires 36" and below will be accepted per customer. Rims and commercial drop offs will not be accepted.

We are dedicated to preserving our environment, cleaning up our streets, increasing the rate of recycling and eliminating litter throughout the City.
