City of Mobile temporary email disruption

The City of Mobile's external email server stopped working on Tuesday afternoon as a result of a cyber attack. The city's Information Technology Department is rebuilding the server and should have it repaired by the close of business Thursday. In the meantime, internal email is working normally but email sent and received from outside the city's system is temporarily blocked. Citizens who are attempting to contact the city via email are encouraged to contact the appropriate city department by phone.
