Temporary parking privileges will be granted at the Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel parking garage located at 64 S. Water Street beginning on Tuesday, September 16, until December 1. Impacted businesses will be given a free parking coupon to extend to their patrons to cover a two hour parking validation on Monday through Friday.
"Infrastructure improvements are a vital part of growing our city," said Mayor Stimpson. "Growth and development can cause a temporary inconvenience for citizens. I want to minimize the inconvenience as much as possible. It's important that our businesses are supported as we work towards improving our city's infrastructure. We're continuing to move towards becoming a safer, more-business and family-friendly city and I am committed to finding ways to improve the quality of life for all of our citizens."
