Celebrate the Fourth of July at Cooper Riverside Park

MOBILE, AL - The Mobile Register and the City of Mobile will host the annual fireworks presentation at Cooper Riverside Park on Sunday, July 4 beginning at 6pm. Each year the Mobile Register and the City of Mobile celebrate the birth of our nation with a grand fireworks display over the historic Mobile River.

Thousands of spectators are expected to watch the impressive display of lights accompanied by the Mobile Pops. Festivities will begin at 6pm with entertainment provided by the Clark Brothers gospel singers who will be followed by the Mobile Pops. Mayor Mike Dow will welcome participants prior to the fireworks beginning at 9pm. Gates will open at 5:30pm.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets to the events. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in city parks.

Cooper Riverside Park is located adjacent to the Arthur R. Outlaw-Mobile Convention Center at the foot of Government Street. Parking is available at the convention center, in adjacent parking garages, and at the Mobile Civic Center. The park is easily accessible from Interstate 10 at exit 26-B or via Water Street from I-165 South. Access to Mobile Landing will be prohibited due to the construction of the Harbor Center.
