Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Mobile

Mobile, Ala. - You can come celebrate an evening of patriotic music, picnicking and fireworks at Battleship Memorial Park, 2703 Battleship Parkway on July 4th."The City of Mobile will carry on its longstanding tradition of painting the sky red, white and blue on Independence Day," said Mayor Stimpson. "It's a representation of our City's unbroken patriotism and a symbol of our commitment to honoring those who have served and those who continue to protect our families and our freedom."
Gates will open for parking at 5 pm. The Mobile Pops concert will begin at 7 pm and the fireworks celebration will follow at 9:00 pm. Admission is $5 per car. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets. Glass containers, grills and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
If you are viewing the fireworks show from the water, the City is asking that you stay 750 feet away from the fireworks barge and the USS ALABAMA. Marine Police and the Mobile Fire Department will be strictly enforcing the safety zone.
