Brown Bag in Bienville Continues

Today, the Brown Bag Concert Series will continue with the R&B Group Shad & the Gang. The group includes former members of the Ray Charles Band and the Bobby Blue Bland Band. Sponsored by The City of Mobile, Catt’s Sunday Jazz Brunch and Radio Avalon, this Brown Bag Wednesday is a "can’t miss event."

Brown Bag is a free lunch time event held each Wednesday from April 7th through May 26th in Bienville Square beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at 1:30 p.m. Brown Bag is presented in the spring and fall and features local and regional artists playing a mix of Blues, Pop and Jazz. The remaining spring line-up includes:

April 21 – Rebecca Berry
April 28 – Jim Armstrong
May 5 – Excelsior Band
May 12 – Vibration Configuration
May 19 – Lisa Mills
May 26 - Joe Occhipinti

Brown Bag is a great way to enjoy your lunch in the middle of the week. Bienville Square is located in Downtown Mobile and is bordered by Dauphin St., St. Joseph St., St. Francis St. and Conception St.
