BELLINGRATH GARDENS AND HOME TO REOPEN SEPTEMBER 27

Sep 21st, 2004

September 21, 2004 - Mobile, AL - Bellingrath Gardens and Home will reopen on Monday, September 27 at 8:00 a.m. following a brief closing due to Hurricane Ivan.  Normal operating hours will resume with daily closings at 5:00 p.m.

The gardens fared extremely well with only debris and the lack of power and phones keeping us from reopening sooner.   The lack of damage can be attributed to the amount of preparation that was taken ahead of time.

The gardens are also undergoing fall replanting and will soon be full of the colors of autumn.  The annual Chrysanthemum display will open November 7, followed by Magic Christmas in Lights, November 26.  For pricing and additional information, please contact us at (251) 973-2217 or visit our website www.bellingrath.org.
