Ceremony to be Held Thursday, June 19 at 12:30 in Gaslight Park

Mobile, Ala. - The Mobile BayBears are announcing the groundbreaking ceremony of their new multi-purpose facility. The 4,000 square-foot all-purpose facility will be located in Hank Aaron Stadium's Gaslight Park.

"Over the past seven years our Stadium Club at Hank Aaron Stadium has been extremely effective in hosting special events such as civic luncheons, sales seminars, company parties, and award banquets," BayBears president and general manager Bill Shanahan said. "The Stadium Club holds up to 150 people, while the new center will host up to 250 and feature high-speed internet access and wireless technology, as well."

The new facility will be named the Z-Technology Center. Z-Technology is a full service technology company providing the Mobile area with computer sales, service and networking, web design and hosting. They provide their customers with one point of contact to solve all of their technology needs.

The ground breaking ceremony will include Mayor Michael Dow and the members of the Mobile City Council, including the president of the City Council, Reggie Copeland. Lunch will also be served for all media attending.

The Z-Technology Center will be a great place for businesses to rent for meetings, picnics, product launches, client appreciations, or award banquets. Also, any group can book the facility for wedding receptions, holiday events or Mardi Gras celebrations, with catering available. The all-purpose building can also host indoor baseball clinics and camps as well.

"Z-Technology is proud to be part of this enhancement to Hank Aaron Stadium," said Robert Evans, the president of Z-Technology. "This step confirms the BayBears commitment to continuing to be a true 'cutting edge' facility for Mobile and the surrounding community."
