Arts Alive Moves Indoors

Apr 11th, 2008

Despite the weather, the show will still go on this evening as the first night of Arts Alive weekend moves into ArtWalk venues and the Scottish Rite Temple between 5 and 9 p.m. throughout the Cathedral Square Arts District. Live musicians from Fridays @ 5 will take cover as follows: American Aces and Roman Street inside Space 301; Lisa Zanghi inside Visions Twist; and Suite Configuration inside the Mobile Arts Council.

The main Arts Alive attraction will move from Cathedral Square into the Scottish Rite Temple at St. Francis and Claiborne Streets.

There will be live music from the Full House Show & Band, a “sweded” film festival and the 4th Annual Arts Alive Poetry Slam.

The rest of the weekend will go as planned centered in and around Cathedral Square.

The event is family-friendly and free.
