CITY OF MOBILE
AMENDMENTS TO FY2004, FY 2008 and FY 2009 ACTION PLANS

The City of Mobile is contemplating amendments to its FY 2004, FY 2008, and FY 2009 Action Plans. The intent of the amendments is to reallocate funds under its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

These amendments will reallocate unexpended funds from a completed sidewalk project, the purchase price of a home which was bought with Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds, and unexpended funds allocated to the Mobile Housing Board maintenance of CDBG properties.

These funds will be reallocated to and reprogrammed into the FY 2011 Action Plan.

The City is providing citizens a 30-day comment period to inquire and make comments regarding this reallocation of entitlement grant funds from Monday, January 24 to Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Citizens are urged to contact the City of Mobile in writing to:

On Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the 10:30 am., the Mobile City Council will hold a public hearing to solicit citizen views and comments regarding this proposed reallocation.
