ALDOT Working on Interstate 65 this Weekend

The Alabama Department of Transportation will close a section of Interstate 10 this weekend for bridge repairs.

The I-65 Southbound Exit Ramp to I-10 East will be closed for repair starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, October 17th. The ramp will be reopened no later than 5 a.m. on Monday, October 20th or as soon as the repairs are completed. Local traffic should take alternate routes. Interstate through traffic will be detoured on I-10 Westbound to Exit 17, Alabama 193 South, then back to I-10 East.

The detour route described above will take motorists west to the Tillman’s corner exit and back east to the downtown area.
