ALDOT Begins Overnight Work on I-10 Bayway

Weather permitting, beginning Tuesday, March 13 the Alabama Department of Transportation will begin striping operations on the I-10 Bayway between Mobile and Daphne/Spanish Fort.

The work will require random lane closures on the bridge, but there will only be one lane of traffic closed at any given time. Lane closures will be between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., Sunday thru Thursday.

The work is expected to be completed in approximately 3 months.

Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Maintenance Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
