ALDOT Announces the Closure of an I-10 Exit Ramp During Construction Work

The Alabama Department of Transportation announces that I-10 Exit 22A, which is the exit ramp from Westbound Interstate 10 to Northbound Alabama 163 (Dauphin Island Parkway), will be closed at 7 p.m. Sunday, September 13th for approximately 30 days while construction work is performed on the ramp. While Exit 22A is closed, traffic will be detoured to use Exit22B.

Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience while these repairs are being done to improve Alabama's roadways.
