54th Annual Summertime Talent Show Winners Announced

The winners of the Mobile Parks and Recreation Department’s 54th Annual Summertime Talent Show have been announced. Local elementary, middle and high school students competed using many talents like singing, dancing, stepping, and flag routines. The winners are:
Elementary School
First Place: “I Believe” – Praise Dance performed by Cassidy Womack & LaRina Womack (Hillsdale Community Center)
Second Place: “Books of the Bible” – Recitation performed by Jayden Jones (Hillsdale Community Center)
Third Place: “I Look to You” – Praise Dance performed by Tumisang Mdluli, Jayden Watkins, Ashley Powell & Tatyania English (Hillsdale Community Center)
Middle School
First Place: “Watch My Fashion” – Dance performed by Mauriah Jones, Breland M. Love & LaTereyne Brackett (Newhouse Center)
Second Place: “His Eye on the Sparrow” – Acapella performed by Caitlyn Rackley (Mitternight Center)
Third Place: “Fire Works” – Dance performed by Tayla Kiame, Artasia Carter, Erin Austin, Reagan Jackson, Vanessa Siggers, Blair Lain & Shyaunta Phillips (Woodcock Center)
High School
First Place: “For All We Know” – Solo performed by Bobbie Duckworth (Harmon-Thomas Community Center)
Second Place: “No Light” – Dance performed by Shanice Richardson (Dotch Community Center)
Third Place: “BTF Society” – Power Stepper performed by Tameryn Abney, Cedric Abney, Ileana Fairly, Steven Dial-McCoy, JerMarkus Wilder, Shane Robinson, Maiya Boykin, Kareem Davis, Robert Williams & Raven Woodard (Rickarby Center)
People’s Choice Award
