Gulf Coast Ethnic & Heritage Jazz Festival

The GCEH Jazz Festival presents the Marcus Johnson Summer Jazz Camp, held weekdays during July 22-August 2, 2019 at the History Museum of Mobile. This dynamic 10-day Jazz music education program is geared towards intermediate level middle and high school band students from Mobile and Baldwin Counties, yet all Gulf Coast area aspiring jazz artists are welcome and encouraged to participate. The cost is $75 per student and registration is required. The Festival also includes An Evening of Jazz & Spoken Word on July 25th at 7 pm, Featuring Yo Jonesy & the Crowded Jewelz, along with HuggyBear da Poet and the PowerLines Poets, at the History Museum of Mobile (Admission is $15 ea. @ the door). The GCEH Jazz Festival culminates in one incredible main stage jazz concert, JAZZ @ LAIDLAW, featuring nationally and internationally known jazz artists, at 7 pm at the USA Laidlaw Performing Arts Center (5751 USA So.
