The structure was vacant, as were most in the neighborhood. No one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
Mobile Fire-Rescue Department units are currently working on a residential fire in the 1600 block of Warbler Drive in Mobile, Alabama, Wednesday evening, June 19, 2024.
Units were dispatched at about 7:25 p.m. and arrived on scene to find fire and smoke showing from the front of a single-story brick residence.
Crews established a water supply and entered the structure to extinguish the fire out and search for any victims.
As of 7:45 p.m., a primary search for any victims inside was all clear as operations on the incident continued.
